One night in Pasadena.  It was during the late '70's.  Larry's onstage, he's finished a few songs on his acoustic guitar. Then, he looks around.  He says, "Oh, I brought something for you."  He fumbles through his pockets, but can't seem to find what he brought for the audience.  He says, "Excuse me, I left it backstage."   He returns with Randy Stonehill and his guitar.   What a great surpise and a magic concert of songs from both great artists.

During the concert, prior to Stonehill coming out, Larry kept bantering with the soundman.  "Louder" he'd say.  "This rock music! Louder!"   When Larry left the stage to allow Randy to play a set himself...Larry looks up at the soundman and shouts.."This my friend!  He likes it loud too!"   smile

Another random memory is 1983.  I'm at Universal Amplitheater at Universal Studios.  I'm there to see a double bill of James Taylor and Randy Newman.  I'm walking around outside by the concessions.  There's Larry Norman walking up to the snack bar.  For me, it was like seeing a unicorn or something.  Larry Norman, by himself, hanging at a concert.  i think about saying hi, but I was fairly shy at the time.  Unnecessarily, feeling like a backslider at the time.  I watch Larry walk away with a hot dog and a coke in his hands.

just a random Larry sighting back in the 80's.
