Pics of Larry's funeral

Since I live in Holland I wasn't able to fly to the US to attend Larry's funeral. Time was to short for me to arrange things. And now I'am sorry I didn't push it to the limit.

I would really like to see some pictures of the funeral and Larry's grave. This will help me to (sorry I can't find the Englisch words to express my emotions right).

If anyone wants to please mail them to esperopt@yahoo.com

It would help me very much.

Gerard.

Thank you. I discovered them allready. Are there any pics of the grave site? It wil help me to 'close' things. I stil don't know how to express it clearly in English but hope you will understand this is important to me.

Thanks,
Gerard.

Was it an open casket funeral? What was Larry burried in? I can't picture him being burried in a suit, that's all.

I'm sorry but what is the meaning of the word casket? I can't find the Dutch translation on google.

Well there are some pics of Larry in a suit. But that is not what I ment. It's certanly not my intension to see Larry in a coffin, and I hope that is not what you ment. It would be disrespectful towards the family and Larry.

The intension of my original question was that I needed something to close this for myselff. That's why I asked for pics of the gravesite. And the second reason is that I heard the service in the church was something of a party. With a compilation of Larry's music and the people who attend the service singing Larry's songs.

Well I hope I did express myself right this time and didn't offended anyone.

Gerard.

Hi Gerard.

A casket is the same as a coffin. Or "een kist" as it is said in dutch. You are dutch, aren't you?

Yep, I'm Dutch. Couldn't find the translation. It's not in my dictionary.

No disrespect is intended. I was just curious because the traditional method of burial is to have the person's body in a suit, but quite often 'rockers' and 'bikers' are buried in their street clothes or something similar to what they would have worn on a regular daily basis. Larry knew he was going to die and he had the funeral plans already made, so I assume that he told them what clothes he'd like to be buried in too.
