Larry's music had an influence on me shortly after I became a born-again Christian at age 16, nearly thirty years ago. He spoke to my soul that sacred music could be made in the contemporary medium and remain relevant decades later. I am a better man, lyricist, songwriter, and Christian due to his time on earth. I now teach a course at Friends University in the Masters of Christian Ministry program; a course called Contemporary Christian Worship & Music. I delight in sharing each term Larry's influence and important place in pop-music and culture as best I can. His time on earth was too short but not wasted for the One he loved the most- Jesus Christ the Savior and Son of God. Peace of Christ to you and your loved ones...my deepest prayers go out for your family.
