When I was a new Christian in 1980, Larry's music was a great blessing to me. I continued to love his music and his genuineness and humility. I was so thrilled to see him in concert in Manassas VA in the early/mid 90s and was so touched by his gentleness and how real he was. Praise God for his willingness to be who he was and to love Jesus so simply, and to be different even if it meant being misunderstood by other Christians.
I am sad to hear he died.
