Thanks to all the thousands of visitors we've had in the past 30 days. The response has been overwhelming, and has meant a lot to Larry's family and friends around the world.
Again, thanks for all the support and great memories...
I have listened to Larry's music all my life. Being almost 50 now I go back to his first album and have followed his carrer and life. I was glad to have met him in person and couldn't believe how long he talked with me.
My sister and I used to pursue the music business and had tried out for Word records back in the early 80s. It didn't work out for us, so I quit and became a pastor. My sister went on and had a decent career and opened for people like Phil Keaggy and Point of Grace etc. She met Larry at the Dove Awards about 15 years ago and told Larry about me being a big fan...he asked her if I was a kid, she said know he's in his thirties. Larry laughed and then laughed again when she asked him for an autograph. He told my sister he didn't give autographs but after she kept asking he drew me a picture of himself and his dog. I will never forget that!
