Larry Norman Message Board

Thanks to all the thousands of visitors we've had in the past 30 days.
The response has been overwhelming, and has meant a lot to
Larry's family and friends around the world.

Again, thanks for all the support and great memories...

It was in the mid nineties I saw Larry perform at my church (Calvary Pentecostal Assembly) in Ontario Canada. I am now 39 and although I didnt recognize his name in the 90's I sure recognized his songs. My dad used to play them as I was growing up and when I heard Larry play songs like "Why should the devil have all the good music" and "I wish we'd all been ready", it took me back to my childhood.
After seeing him in concert I went out and bought a bunch of his cd's. I also bought a video of Larry  performing in British Columbia, Canada.  What a great concert.
When my brother called me on Monday with news of Larry passing I went through a grieving period as if I had lost a close friend. Larry had that effect on people. His personality was one where if you met him once you felt as if he was a close friend.
I lost my dad in 2004 to a massive heart attack, and there is not a day that goes  by where I dont  think of him and miss him.
My heart goes out to his family and friends I feel your loss and pain and along with you I long for the day when we will attend the greatest family reunion of all time.
Even so come Lord Jesus!!!
