So many of us owe a huge debt to Larry for the pioneer he was. He was a giant, a legend. A brave man who broke the mould and was not afraid to speak the message God had given him. I wish I was half as brave as him. I wish I had known him personally - I am gald that one day I will meet him!

I first was introduced to Larry's music the summer before my senior year in high school.  I had a friend who loved his stuff, and I had just made a commitment to Christ.

Without the no-holds-barred, say-anything (but say it in love) attitude of Larry, I would not be the man I am today.  His music and attitude had a major impact on me.  I did street ministry for years, pastoring two street missions in Texas due to a passion for the lost, that Larry helped instill.

He was the example I needed to see in order to have the confidence to do the non-traditional things I did.  I saw God move many times, because I had the courage to obey.

You will be missed Larry.  May God comfort the family.  Until we meet again...
