Larry Norman Message Board

Thanks to all the thousands of visitors we've had in the past 30 days.
The response has been overwhelming, and has meant a lot to
Larry's family and friends around the world.

Again, thanks for all the support and great memories...

My condolences to Larry's family and friends! I heard of Larry's death a few days ago and although I knew he had been ill for some time it was still a bit of a shock that he had gone home and I am feeling choked up writing this. I first heard Larry live at Millmead Baptist church, Guildford, Surrey. England when I was 21 years old(I am nearly 57 now)and I thought his music was the greatest rock I had ever heard and he inspired me to reach out to others through music and share Christ with people. He was very down to earth, rough and ready on the outside but beautiful on the inside. I still love to listen to his music for it still inspires me to draw near to Jesus and to share Him with others. Let's praise The Lord as Larry is doing now. Thank GOD larry's race is WON! The Lord is still using Larry's music to draw people to Himself and inspires Christians all over the world to lose thier "religious respectability and pious self image" and get down to earth and share Jesus with ordinary sinners, the lost and needy just as Jesus did when he was here on earth. Praise Jesus that Larry abandoned himself to The Lord and didnt care too much about what people thought of him or his music but cared that people understood the message from The Father to us and put it in such a way that we would stop and think about it and it turned us to christ. Praise The Lord for all the souls saved through the music of Larry Norman. Praise the Lord for the sacrifice that you his family made by allowing Larry to share his music and message with us. Thankyou for sharing Larry with us. Praise The Lord.
