Larry was and is still such an inspiration to me. I remember as a young Christian being blown away by his songs and performances.  A Christian who spoke my language! Who will pick up his mantle and kick the walls of hell in? Who will live for God and stand up for what is right? For me to live is Christ, to die is gain - Larry believed and lived these words. We will meet again - keep the faith and pass it on!

Hey Lester,

we must all pick up the mantle of reaching out to the lost, but musically, I don't believe anyone out there come's close to larry norman.  Only one other lp came close to what larry was attempting to do musically and that was dylan's "slow train comin".  Thanks Lester for bringing up an interesting topic.  What do other's out there think?  It would be fun to hear.   thanks!  Mike C

Lester,

People like Larry are rare. He believed it was more important to lead people to the Savior and left his career in the Lord's hands.  No one can fill his shoes but I pray that the example he was will encourage other Christian artists to always put Christ first.
