Indeed I will pray for Larry's family members.  When I became a Christian in 1971, Larry's music became the catalyst to jump-start my Christian walk.  I saw him the following year at Explo '72, the "Christian Woodstock," as the press called it, in Dallas, TX.  It was hard to find press coverage of the Jesus Movement, from Time magazine to newspapers, that did not mention Larry leading people to the Lord.  We will miss Larry.  The news of his passing is sad for humans, but a joyous day in heaven for Larry.

Kurt,  How sad this is.  I remember how you used to imitate Larry on the guitar and do his songs for Vern and Bill's Bible studies.  We'll miss him and his music.  Are you still writring books?  The Bible study gang in Marion.

Greetings in Jesus!
Yeah, I'm still at it and testifying for Jesus!  Don't know who it is from the gang, but we had some great days back then.  I'm living in Victorville, CA now and still doing mission work www.jude3missions.org.  Good to hear from the old Bible study group.
Love in Jesus,

Ditto about the resurrection.  "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning"---Psalms 30, verse 5.

I, too, heard Larry at Explo '72, but I fell into sin and began following Moses David Berg's teachings in the Children of God movement.  They set up an office across from the Cotton Bowl to steal sheep, among whom I was one.

Campus Crusade For Christ had my number and was led by God to send every registered person a free album of Explo '72.  Larry was on the front cover and I listened to his "Sweet, Sweet, Song of Salvation" over and over until I realized that I was following a man instead of Jesus Christ.  I left the cult and I credit Larry's songs with reaching my heart and mind to release me from my bondage.  It drove me back to GOD's Word, which ultimately set me FREE.  I've been free for over 30 years.  Thank God for Larry Norman's bold ministry.

I Am Free!  Free Indeed.

I was also at Explo '72 and thought that Larry did a great job in introducing what Christian music can do for so many Christians who were, at that time, rather clueless.  I was clueless.  Now I'm not.  I'm still a Jesus Freak for Him.

Guess what?

Brother Larry has now been able to see the RESURRECTED BODY of JESUS CHRIST.  Cool !!!

As I celebrate the Resurrection and the Life (John 11:25) this Easter, I will be thinking about how blessed Larry must be in that position.  Quite true for all those who have preceded us in meeting Jesus.

On the Resurrection of Christ, Larry sang:

But they shoulda known you can't keep a good man down.

Happy Resurrection Day!
