Larry Norman looms so very large in my life--in my soul. Today I am an ordained minister of 25 years; a former missionary evangelist, church-planting pastor and, for the last 14 years, a minister to our elected and appointed officials on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. It wasn't always so. When I was a pot-smoking, scraggly-haired, rebellious teenager wandering far from my Jewish family and home, I was introduced to the Gospel in part through Larry's music. I can't wait to share in eternal fellowship with him, but as long as I am here on earth I will be indebted to him for taking the dare and surrendering his enormous talent to the Lord.

Thank you, Larry, for demonstrating to me that Jesus was "safe" and a safe-haven for my troubled soul.
