"Jesus, we thank you for the faithfulness of your servant Larry Norman who inspired a generation with heartfelt songs of praise for God's loving grace, and a call to costly discipleship in a world looking for cheap grace. May the Holy Spirit continue to use Larry's songs to speak to a needy people in this dry and thirsty land." I first met Larry as a young man in Australia when organising one of his early concert tours to my country. At the end of a very successful night, Larry invited me into his changing room to thank me for the work we had done in preparing the tour. In his quiet humble voice, he demonstrated a servant's heart. Although he was the brightest light shining in those early days of Christian Rock, the Larry I met was simply prepared to deflect all praise to Jesus Christ. "One Way to Jesus!"Larry always told us he was "only visiting this planet", and now we KNOW he is "in another land". One day we'll get there with you Larry and all our tears will be wiped away as we celebrate God's incomparable gift of eternal life.
