I was just a confused nobody, walking down Hollywood Blvd, trying to make sense of the world. Larry stopped and talked to me for a couple of hours and helped bring some sense to my thinking, while making me feel okay about the things that don't make sense. Larry always kept an eye on me, as I grew in the Lord, and smiled when I first became a pastor at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. Later as I had a lot of chances to do a lot of things in front of a lot of people he let me know that he was proud of me, without ever making me feel like I owed him anything. He never forgot, and neither did I. Thank you Larry. From Hollywood Blvd. to streets of gold, we'll talk again. I love you.
