In the 70's, when I was a young rebellious teenager, my 4 brothers and I found Larry Norman's music and what a difference it made in our lives.  We found lots of great Christian music we could relate to... and we liked Larry because he was on the wild side... and the only rock and roll our parents would let us listen to!  I am a Servant has long been one of my favorite songs as it captures the essence of what life should be.  I am now, at 49, a public servant (I work for a local elected official) and my four brothers are ministers.  I can't help but think that Larry's influence helped to make us who we are today.  He is probably singing his heart out and entertaining, in full health, the heavenly hosts.  I can't wait to see him there, too!!  My heart goes out to his family with love and compassion.

I must agree - his influence on me is great.  It gave me an alternative to what the world was offering.  I have spent the last few days listening to Larry's music anew and reflecting over how he has changed Christian music in such a postive way.

Thanks Larry for being true to God's call...
