Greetings all,
i am saddened by the news of larrys passing into eternity,
but i rejoice with all you, in the fact that he is now home with his Lord.
i've been blessed with the oppurtunity to see him perform twice, once in 1997 in jacksonville fl, and several years ago, down in lititz, pa. (near lancaster).
what an incredibly humble man of God!
i've been a very avid listener of his material since the mid-80's.
i was first introduced to his music through a friend in new jersey, who had a program on a local college station on saturday mornings.
Over the years, my love for his music, and ministry have grown immensely!
my youngest, (david) when he was a baby, would try to repeat the words of "watch what you're doing"
Instead of "momma killed a chicken, thought it was a duck", he would say "momma was a chicken, momma was a duck.........."
it was a memory which i deeply cherish.
it hit my son pretty hard, to hear about larry.
but i assured him, that larry is now home with God, and he is o.k., with that.
michael, i had the chance to meet you at the show near lancaster, pa.
to you and your wife (congats by the way!!), may you remain strong in God, and always cherish the memries, and the impact your dad had on my life.
charlie, your musical skills, have been a real blessing,to me. (solo, and with larry).
to the entire staff (past and present), of solid rock,
let us rejoice in all that larry accomplished, and the lives that he touched!!
we will see him again one day!!
praying for all of you always!
In Him,
