It was Tues morning here in Aust when I heard of Larry's passing. I was at work but I took some time out to sit in my car & pray - for Larry's family & to thank God for the huge influence he & his music has been in my life. I am meditating on Isaiah at the moment & I opened my bible to where I'm up to, chapter 64, & was struck by verse 8: "O Lord... we are the clay, you are the potter..." & I thought of how Larry has been the Potter's hands, not only on this clay jar, but on so many around the world over the last 4 decades. I was a 70s teenager & Larry's music has had a major part to play in how God has moulded me into the 50 year old I am today. I am thinking of & praying for you, Larry's family, because if I shed the tears I did & feel the loss that I do after only having seen him in concert a couple of times many years ago, how much deeper must your loss be? I am also rejoicing with you knowing that Larry no longer has heart problems & he is with Jesus. May God bless you.
