I'd listened to Larry for years before I had the opportunity to see him at Augora High School in 1983 as he was raising money for a church that my friend Steve H. was attending in Malibu Canyon.

I was mostly touched by Larry's pastors heart and the natural way he went about sharing with us. Music was just a vehicle. But it was a nice vehicle. I'm touched and saddened by his passing. And encouraged just the same. It helps me remember that we are only visiting this planet.

And I look fwd to makin music with you my friend...

If someone has the opportunity to bring a daisy to Larry for me tomorrow, I will gladly give you a daisy when we meet in heaven.
