Larry Norman Message Board

Before tonight, when I found out Larry passed away, I had never cried when someone died. His music and words have kept me going and focused on Jesus many times through the years.

My brother, Rich, took me to see Larry the first time in Ft. Wayne, IN. The concert was sold out, so Larry did a second set, packed the house, and sang and talked to us late into the night. I'll never forget the first time I saw Larry on stage with his long bleach blond hair.

The last concert I went to was in Toledo - late 1990's. My wife and I planned to get a bite to eat after the concert, be nothing was open after the five hour concert.

Larry poured out everything he had to those who came to see him - just like Jesus. His stories were, and will always be, a source of inspiration to me.

Thank you Larry and his family and friends for continuing to make his music available to everyone over the years. I have his records from the 70's and cd's from the 2000's.
