Thanks to all the thousands of visitors we've had in the past 30 days. The response has been overwhelming, and has meant a lot to Larry's family and friends around the world.
Again, thanks for all the support and great memories...
My husband became a Christian in the early 70's. He immediately turned from his secular music to Christian rock. He was in a band and was trully influenced by Larry Norman. He began going to the CCM conventions and met Keith Green and others. He always tried to book a concert with Larry and talked to him on the phone several times. At our wedding we had "I Am a Servant" sung as we wanted to serve together. We saw Larry at the GMA convention in Nashville in 1996. He was sitting behind us and we took pictures with him. I began to cry uncontrollably when we saw him because so many of our music dreams were tied up in him and our desire to be a part of CC music. It never happened the way we thought it would, but we continue to praise God and involve ourselves in missions. Our two children grew up with Larry's songs and John has always looked up to him. We are so saddened to hear of his death but are excited to know of his new life in heaven. It seems as if we have lost a part of our family even though he never really knew us.
