When I bought my first stereo back in the mid 70's I was so excited to get it all hooked up.  When I finally did, I began to scan for a radio station and the very first thing to come across it and fill my room was "UFO" by Larry Norman.  I was a Christian, but I had no idea that Christian music like this existed.  As I listened to it I began to think, "Hey, this is about Jesus!"  My excitement doubled and his music has "made a difference everyday" in my life.

I began to go to his concerts when he was in town, and his focus on honesty and friendship has inspired me.  He is part of a Trilogy of Christian musicians that I will miss dearly.  For my life has been strengthened and blessed by, Keith, Rich and Larry.

Good bye for now Larry, I will shed many tears in honor of your life.

I heard Larry for the first time at "Jesus 73", the first of the big Jesus festivals, in Morgantown, PA.  I was 9, and he was and is my all-time favorite Christian artist.  My whole understanding of God, Jesus, and the Bible is built around his music, because he put it in understandable, clever terms.  Jesus in Larry totally shaped my life.  Larry Norman is a major reason why I have an intimate, down-to-earth love relationship with Jesus.

Once I commented to him after a concert that his music is inspired by the Holy Spirit, and he nodded yes.
