Hi my name is Aaron. I'm 15 and about a month ago my dad had me listen to Larry Norman. I fell in love with his music right away, and it was all I listned to. I loved Reader's Digest, and the Great American Novel. My dad pulled out a old Larry Norman concert video and I loved it. I loved Larry's humor, and personality. I thought he was great. I said to my dad that I wished he would come back and put out an album. I didn't know that soon Larry would be taken away from us and take the "One Way" to God. I was hit hard by it, and felt like a piece of me was taken away. SO a young kid who found the old rock and roll star I mourn with you all.

Hang in there Aaron,

Actually I think everyone who connected to Larry is feeling that "why so soon?" pang right now... I am, and I know my son is too... he's also become a Larry fan by osmosis (hanging around me). 

It's okay to love and miss Larry, what you are missing is the Holy Spirit of Jesus he had faithfully carried within him and shared so selflesly... stay close to Jesus. 

We all grieve the loss of his special light in this world and it is a time of sorrow but the sorrow will pass as God lays new understanding on your heart, we do not greive as those without hope. 

Keep the faith brother, I'm praying for you to stay close to Jesus and stay close to the message Larry preached... that light is still here and that spirit will never die.

Wow Aaron

I'm 45 and have been struck by Larry Norman's music for 30 years, but I couldn't have said it better than you.

When I think about myself I feel like mourning the loss. When I try to look at it from Larry's perspective I just have to smile, laugh, and say "Well done Brother! Praise the Lord, after 60 years you're finally FREE!"
