I am only 42 but just loved all Larry's music. I was fortunate enough to have seen Larry about 6 times in concert. Two or three times around Lancaster, PA and then several times at Creation Festival (East). I heard him say that if artists can't get out with the people then they don't belong up here. (On Stage) That was at Creation Fest. My children were exposed to Larry's music by me playing it all the time as we drove around, especially on our trip across the country in 2000. Well we all help out at Creation working setup, tear down and during the festival. I was walking through the grounds and noticed that my two boys were sitting at a picnic table chatting with Larry.. This wasn't back in Hospitality were most of the bands hung out, but out in the general public. Larry was also talking to several other youths and was really 100% true to what he preached.
This made a lasting impression on my boys and they will never forget the day they got to sit and break bread with my Hero, Larry Norman.

One of the concerts in Lancaster he was taking a break halfway through the concert and I was headed back in after a potty break. On the way back I passed a room that Larry was in resting by an opened window and getting some fresh air. We made eye contact but I didn't want to bother him as I know how much artist get bombarded with fans, so I passed by just nodding to him. I now wish I had walked in and just sat next to him.

He is definitely missed but glad he is finally home with our Lord and Savior.
