Former band members
(Preview)
Perhaps it would be nice if some of Larrys bandmates would weigh in with some comments. I know that after 30 years playing with Larryin studios, on albums (CDs) and touring all over the globe, I have lost my dearest friend in music ministry. It may be of some interest to other fans to start a thread with...

Obscure Musician Leaves Legacy
(Preview)
I found an article in the Northumberland Today and this portion of the piece expressed exactly how I feel. "...So, what do I take away from the legacy of an obscure musician? I'd like to be someone who can sit and talk to someone who is hurting or who has questions about God, and radiate a gentleness...

I am a Christian, but i can't believe that every time someone who isn't and tries to say that they are just Larry Norman fans comes on this board they get the third degree. Larry was a musician with a message yes, but it is possible to just enjoy his music (as a lot of my friends do) without having to be saved....

Belfast days

Last week I discovered that one of my personal heroes had died just a few weeks ago. Larry Norman was a Christian singer/song writer who has been called by many the father of contemporary Christian music. Anyone here seen this movie? It's a low budget "B" movie from 1972, but I loved it! I'm a sucker for cheesy movies anyway, but the cameo appearances by Larry Norman and Randy Stonehill were great! How...

Thinking of Larry this a.m.

Just this morning I was thinking about Larry. Tonight I got on the internet and, about 10 minutes ago much to my surprise, learned that our beloved Larry Norman died on the 24th of February. I'm bummed, even though I know he's in the best place right now--with Jesus. Larry's music and heart made a huge im...

Larry's voice is gone but is not silent. My son attended his funeral as a friend, even though he had never met Larry; yet, Larry's music has been a friend to our family over the years. Ive been following Larry Normans career for forty years. The expressed sentiments upon Larrys death have been encouraging, inspiring, and most heartfelt. Gods Word, the Holy Bible, and Christian history record unlimited characters for us to know. I think of David, Moses, Abraham, Peter, Paul,...

Do songs really change people?

At 17 I was an avid MTV watcher. I went to stay with my Aunt & Uncle which listened to a LOT of Larry's music. I was a prodigal and couldn't wait to turn off Larry's music in favor of my MTV. Barking at the Ants

Does anyone have the record album, Barking at the Ants? I used to have it. On the sleeve he says something about Stev...
